About
Measure the timing and polarity relationship between two recordings without uploading session audio. PhasePair imports a reference file and a comparison file, decodes both locally, and searches a bounded correlation window for the strongest sample offset. Signed correlation indicates whether the relationship is likely inverted, while the dual-trace view and source manifest keep the evidence visible. The correction ticket translates the result into samples and milliseconds. Export a designed PDF report, structured CSV, or a shifted and polarity-corrected mono WAV copy while leaving source files unchanged. Saved takes make repeated microphone and capture comparisons easy to revisit. Correlation is an engineering aid, not an artistic decision. Always verify by ear and against the intended microphone or capture relationship before destructive editing. Files must use the same sample rate for sample-accurate comparison. Everything runs locally. There is no account, subscription, in-app purchase, advertising, analytics, tracking, cloud sync, or Gobling Company server upload. Files leave only when you choose a destination through Apple's share sheet.
