Understand the speaking structure of a screenplay before casting, rehearsal, scheduling, revision, or production handoff. DialogueTrace imports Fountain and plain screenplay text locally. It recognizes scene headings, speaker cues, parentheticals, and dialogue blocks; normalizes cue variants while preserving their original forms; and measures dialogue words, beats, scene coverage, and longest speeches for every cast member. The exchange map connects consecutive speakers within the same scene and records exchange counts and scene evidence. The scene log summarizes speakers and spoken workload without reducing the script to a simple word count. Export a designed PDF cast report and structured CSV for scheduling, casting, rehearsal, or further analysis. Automated parsing is production assistance and should be checked against unusually formatted scripts. Everything runs locally. There is no account, subscription, in-app purchase, advertising, analytics, tracking, cloud sync, or Gobling Company server upload. Files leave only when you choose a destination through Apple's share sheet.
