TraverseClose Survey is a paid, local-first closure and adjustment fieldbook for land surveyors, civil engineering students, construction layout crews, and geomatics instructors. Build a traverse from station-to-station legs with clockwise azimuth, reduced horizontal distance, optional vertical difference, and observation notes. A built-in quadrant bearing converter translates N/S degree E/W entries to whole-circle azimuths without leaving the worksheet. CSV import supports existing leg lists. The closure workspace exposes raw latitude and departure for every leg, north and east misclosure, linear misclosure, total observed distance, and relative precision. Bowditch compass-rule corrections are distributed in proportion to leg length, with both corrections and adjusted latitude/departure kept visible for review. Use the coordinate plan to compare the dashed raw path, observed endpoint, closing vector, and corrected polygon. Inspect closing coordinates and adjusted enclosed area, then run the audit for minimum leg count, closed station sequence, unique station labels, positive distances, valid azimuths, and your configured precision threshold. Save multiple jobs locally, duplicate a job as a revision, retain coordinates and notes, and export the adjusted worksheet as CSV or a closure summary as JSON. No login is required. The app has no subscription, in-app purchases, ads, analytics, tracking, cloud sync, AI processing, or developer-server upload. Calculations should be independently checked under the standards and control procedures governing each survey.
