Primo Snake - Snake Identifier

About

What snake is this? Point your camera at it and Primo Snake, a snake identifier built for the outdoors, tells you which species it most likely is, whether it is venomous, and which look-alikes it can be confused with. SNAKE ID FROM A PHOTO Take a photo or import one from your gallery. Primo Snake analyzes it and returns the most likely species with the traits the photo shows, so a snake ID takes seconds. VENOMOUS OR NOT Every identification comes with a clear verdict: venomous, not venomous, or unsure when the photo does not allow a confident answer. It works as a venomous snake identifier, but an identification is never a guarantee - keep your distance from any wild snake. RATTLESNAKES, COPPERHEADS AND THEIR LOOK-ALIKES Use it as a rattlesnake identifier on the trail, or to tell a copperhead from the non-venomous snakes that get mistaken for one. See which non-venomous species resemble venomous ones and compare the structural markers that actually tell them apart: scales, pattern, tail, heat-sensing pits. SNAKE GUIDE Browse a curated catalog of snake species with photos, key traits, habitat and behavior, filtered to what lives near you. YOUR COLLECTION Save your scans, organize them into folders and build your own field log of every snake you find. MADE FOR SNAKE COUNTRY For hikers, gardeners, campers and parents who meet snakes outdoors where snake bites are a real concern, and want to know what they are looking at - from a safe distance. Primo Snake is for education and general information. It identifies animals and does not give medical advice. Some features require a Premium subscription.
