About
Short brass pipes protrude from the corners of the bulkhead. If a pipe bursts, a jet of water gushes out. Press a finger against the nozzle, and the water stops immediately; release, and the water level in the bilge rises. A maximum of five leaks can be plugged simultaneously with five fingers. Each watch lasts only a few seconds: the large numbers on the left indicate a leak in the bilge, and the golden countdown on the right shows how much longer you have to hold out. If the leak fills up, it's a failure; if no one presses a single hole consecutively, it's also a failure. If the countdown reaches zero and the lattice panels remain dry, you've successfully held the line. When the pressure surges, all the pipes spray simultaneously, requiring you to press all five fingers against them. There are no complicated rules; it's simply a short-term, desperate attempt to plug leaks with your hands and eyes.
