LensMatch: FOV Planner is a paid, local-first preproduction tool for cinematographers, directors, camera assistants, location scouts, and content crews. Choose a sensor format, focal length, camera distance, and delivery aspect ratio. LensMatch calculates horizontal and vertical angle of view, full-frame equivalent, and real-world frame coverage, then visualizes the camera cone and composition. Compare a second lens and see the exact camera move needed to preserve framing. Save scene and shot identifiers, subjects, blocking notes, and camera setups to a reusable shot list. Export a plain-text camera plan for the crew. No login is required. The app has no subscription, in-app purchase, ads, analytics, tracking, cloud sync, camera access, photo library access, or developer-server upload. Plans remain on device and files leave the app only when you explicitly export them.
