About

I have tinnitus. The sound is in my head all day, but nobody else can hear it. Explaining it as “like a cicada” or “a buzz” is not the same as letting someone listen. Hear Tinnitus is for that gap: - A home hearing screening, left and right ear separately - A simulated tinnitus sound based on weaker frequencies (up to 20 kHz) - Manual matching if the estimate is not close: ring, buzz, hiss, roar, or pulse - Play through headphones or the iPhone speaker so someone next to you can hear it - Export a PDF audiogram to share with family or bring to a clinic visit Relief sounds (masking, a one-minute residual-inhibition practice, notched noise) and rain/ocean soundscapes are included. They may reduce how bothersome tinnitus feels for some people. They cannot repair hearing or cure tinnitus. Use headphones in a quiet room. This is a screening and communication tool, not a hospital hearing test. If hearing drops suddenly, on one side, or with dizziness, see a doctor. Languages inside the app: Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, English, Japanese, Korean.
