About
KilnStack is a focused offline load-planning desk for studio potters, ceramic educators, community studios, kiln technicians, and warm-glass artists who want to think through the physical shelf layout before lifting kiln furniture. Create a firing load with round or square chamber dimensions, usable height, target cone, firing type, ware-to-ware clearance, and edge clearance. Add shelves with diameter, usable height, post height, and a witness-cone marker. Place each piece by footprint and position, with its height, clay body, and glaze or surface treatment. The Shelf Blueprint turns those placements into a clear top-down load map. KilnStack's geometric Load Check flags overlapping ware, pieces that cross the modeled usable edge, pieces taller than the entered shelf space, shelves wider than the chamber, missing witness-cone markers, and a combined shelf stack taller than the entered chamber. Build the firing program from named ramp and hold stages. KilnStack estimates the full programmed duration from ambient temperature and presents targets, rates, holds, load notes, and placement details in one firing brief. Export named PDF and CSV load sheets through Apple's system share sheet. KilnStack is a one-time purchase. There is no account, subscription, advertising, analytics, tracking, cloud sync, community feed, glaze marketplace, kiln connection, controller integration, official cone database, or Gobling Company server upload. KilnStack is a planning aid, not a kiln controller, engineering inspection, studio safety system, firing authority, or substitute for manufacturer instructions. It cannot inspect physical ware, kiln furniture, elements, electrical supply, ventilation, thermocouples, cones, controllers, clearances, or material compatibility. Confirm the actual kiln, ware, furniture, ventilation, electrical installation, controller program, firing materials, manufacturer requirements, and studio safety procedures before every firing.
