About
Jobsheet does the jobs a one-truck contractor has to do: write the estimate, send the invoice, book the work, track the miles and the hours. Every job photo prints under the line item it proves, so the customer sees exactly what the money is for. No account, no sign in, no signal needed. It still works in a basement with no bars. WHERE THE PHOTOS GO Jobsheet puts your business details at the top, the work in the middle, and each photo under the line it documents. Not a gallery at the back nobody scrolls to. Arrows, circles and notes go onto a photo before it prints. Photos can be stamped with the date, time and address as you take them. SCHEDULING THAT KNOWS WHEN YOU ARE FREE Book a job and Jobsheet works out the times you have open, from your working hours, your working days, and the drive time either side of what is already booked. It reads your Apple Calendar too, so a dentist appointment blocks a slot the same as a job does. Pick a time by hand and it warns you if it conflicts. Reminders land an hour before and the night before. MILEAGE, KEPT THE WAY THE IRS ASKS Tap start when you pull away and Jobsheet measures the drive by GPS, screen locked or not, until you tap stop. Every trip records the date, destination, miles and business purpose — the four things IRS Publication 463 requires — with the standard mileage rate applied, so the deduction is ready for Schedule C. Link a drive to a job and bill the travel. THE CLOCK RUNS ON THE JOB Start the clock when work begins, stop it when you leave. Hours land on the job they belong to, and billable time drops onto the invoice as a line item at your labour rate. TOOK MONEY UP FRONT? BILL THE BALANCE Record a deposit for materials or on signing, and the document shows the full price, subtracts what you took, and leads with what is still owed. The customer can check the arithmetic instead of taking your word for it. THE CUSTOMER SIGNS ON YOUR PHONE Hand them the phone, it turns sideways, and they sign on a proper line. The signature prints on the invoice with their name, the exact amount authorized, the date and time, and the address. Edit the document after and Jobsheet says so, rather than letting an old signature stand for a new number. NO ACCOUNT, NO SERVER Everything lives on your phone, with nothing to log into, which is why it works in a crawlspace or forty minutes down a dirt road. Your jobs come back with your iPhone backup. Big buttons you can hit with gloves on, high contrast you can read outside. SPEAK A LINE ITEM, HANDS-FREE Dictate the work instead of typing. Say "two ceiling fans at one twenty five" and Jobsheet fills in the description, quantity and rate for you to check before it saves. Or ask Siri. YOUR PRICE BOOK, ON THE PHONE Save the work you quote over and over with its price, then drop it on any estimate in one tap. It sorts by what you use most.
