Midbar

About

Midbar is Jewish and Israeli news with a point of view. Every day, the essentials decoded: what happened, what it reveals, and the angle you won't find elsewhere. No neutral wire copy pasted in — an argued reading, written from a Jewish perspective, that follows its reasoning to the end. TWO WAYS TO FOLLOW THE NEWS • The feed — today's top story, then every article. Each one cites its original source, one tap away: you can always go back to the raw fact. • The reels — the essentials in 30 seconds, in vertical video. Scroll like on a social network, and open the full analysis when a story stops you. TWO EDITIONS • English or French, your choice in the settings: the feed, the reels and the links follow. TOLD THE MOMENT AN ARTICLE IS OUT • A notification for every new article in the edition you choose. It switches on at first launch and off with one tap in the settings. WHAT YOU WON'T FIND • No account to create. You open the app, you read. • No trackers, no cookies. • No personal data collected: your settings never leave your phone. BUILT FOR EVERY DAY • The feed's headlines stay readable offline. • Share an article or a reel in two taps. • The sound of the reels mutes with one tap and stays the way you left it. OUR LINE Midbar owns a Jewish perspective and takes a stand. Our articles are analyses, not wire reports: we give context, we interpret, we defend a reading. Factual accuracy, though, is never negotiable — every story links to its source, and a reported error gets corrected.
