About
KalyndaFly is a live flight-tracking and emergency-response system for paragliding operators, clubs and schools. The pilot starts a flight and their position, altitude and speed stream to the operations centre once per second. If something goes wrong, the operations centre sees it before the pilot can say a word. WHAT IT DOES • Live tracking — one position per second for the whole flight, and it keeps running with the screen off. • SOS — one tap. If there is no data connection it falls back to SMS and a phone call. • Automatic incident detection — freefall, impact, rapid descent, signal loss, no motion and restricted-airspace entry. When software detects it, you are asked first ("Are you OK?"); if there is no answer the alarm escalates to operations. • Spiral dives are not alarms — normal manoeuvres are separated from real events, so alert fatigue never sets in. • Standby mode — catches the take-off of a pilot who forgot to start the flight. • Logbook — calendar, replay, GPX / IGC / CSV export. • Messaging, photos, time-limited live location sharing, voice and video calls. • Take-off site wind status and flight-plan reminders. • Live share link — send it to your family; they watch without installing anything. PRIVACY During a flight your position is sent once per second. When no flight is open, pilot accounts send only the LAST known position, sparsely, for emergencies (at most every 15 minutes when still, every 2 minutes when moving); no location history is kept and the device visibly indicates the sharing. Only you, the staff of your own operator and the platform admin can see your position; operators cannot see each other’s pilots. Data is never used for advertising and never sold. ACCOUNTS KalyndaFly is a business product: your account is created by your club, school or company. There are no in-app purchases. DISCLAIMER KalyndaFly is an assistive tool, not a rescue service. The decision to fly and the responsibility for it remain with the pilot. Tracking depends on GPS, mobile network coverage and battery, and can be interrupted.
