WeeSteps Parents gives families a simple, secure way to see the learning moments their child’s setting chooses to share. Designed to work alongside WeeSteps, the app lets parents and guardians view observations, photos and updates from their child’s learning journey in one easy place. Once your child’s setting has linked you as a guardian, you can sign in securely and see shared moments as they are released by staff. With WeeSteps Parents you can: • View your child’s learning journey • See observations shared by their setting • Browse photos in a simple gallery • Search for previous learning moments • See the Areas of Learning linked to observations • Receive optional email updates when new moments are shared • View children linked to your account • Manage your account details and password • Use the same account across supported devices Only moments deliberately released by your child’s setting are shown in the family app, helping schools and early years settings stay in control of what is shared. WeeSteps Parents is designed for families using participating pre-schools, nursery units and Foundation Stage settings in Northern Ireland. To use the app, your child’s setting must be using WeeSteps and must link your email address to your child’s account. WeeSteps is developed in Northern Ireland by ePrinting UK.
