Every photo your Fujifilm camera writes already carries the recipe that made it. Film Recipes reads it back out. Drop in a JPEG or a HEIF straight from your X-T5, X100VI, X-S20 or GFX and get the whole recipe in one tap: film simulation, white balance mode and shift, dynamic range, D Range Priority, highlight and shadow tone, colour, sharpness, high ISO NR, clarity, grain effect and size, Color Chrome Effect and Color Chrome FX Blue. No camera to plug in. No cable. No pairing. READS HEIF, NOT JUST JPEG Most tools were written for JPEG only, then quietly find nothing inside a HEIF file and tell you the photo has no recipe. HEIF stores its metadata somewhere completely different. Film Recipes reads both containers properly, and it tells you which one it read on screen every time. NEVER GUESSES If a value is not in the file, or does not decode cleanly, the app says "Not recorded" instead of showing you a number that might be wrong. A recipe you cannot trust is worse than no recipe at all. KNOWS YOUR CAMERA Pick your body once and every recipe is checked against it. Only the camera can produce the camera's colour. What the preview is genuinely good for is seeing the direction and the size of the difference between two recipes, which is the question you actually have when choosing between them.
