Air Tool Care is a service calendar for pneumatic tools. It shows what is due, in the order it is due — not a list of everything you own with the problems buried in the middle. SORTED BY URGENCY, NOT ALPHABETICALLY Overdue tools rise to the top with a red mark. Due-soon ones follow in amber. Everything that is fine stays at the bottom where you do not have to read it. THREE THINGS PER TOOL Oil, inlet filter, vanes. Each has its own interval, each gets its own colour, and the app knows which of them your tool actually has — a nailer has no vanes, and a spray gun should never see oil at all. LOG HOURS AS YOU WORK Tap plus one, four or eight hours after a session. Filter and vane intervals count from those hours, not from the calendar, because a tool used twice a year and one used daily do not wear at the same rate. THE THINGS THAT KILL AIR TOOLS Oil goes in the inlet, not the exhaust. A spray gun wants bone-dry air — a trace of oil in the line shows up as fisheyes in the finish and there is no fixing it. Vanes are a consumable, not a fault, and people replace whole tools when a vane set would have done. WORKS OFFLINE No account, no signal. Service intervals are the commonly published guidance for each type of tool and vary between manufacturers — your own tool's manual takes priority.
