About

Load Securing works out how many straps a load actually needs, instead of how many feel about right. FOUR QUESTIONS, ONE AT A TIME The weight. What it is sitting on. What straps you have. The angle they pull at. Answer them in order and the app does the rest — no form to fill in, no fields to guess at. FRICTION DOES MOST OF THE WORK A tonne on anti-slip matting may need a single strap. The same tonne on bare steel needs five. Matting costs less than one strap and is the cheapest thing you can put on a trailer, and almost nobody carries it. ANGLE IS NOT A DETAIL A strap pulling at 30° from the deck gives you half of what the same strap gives straight down. Two badly angled straps are worth one good one, and the app shows you the percentage as you choose. STF, NOT LC The number that matters is the standard tension force printed on the label — what the ratchet actually applies. Lashing capacity is about breaking, which is a different question entirely, and it is the bigger number people reach for by mistake. WORKS OFFLINE No account, no signal. Based on the top-over friction lashing method in EN 12195-1, using 0.8 g forward and 0.5 g sideways. It does not cover direct or diagonal lashing, blocking, or loads that tip rather than slide. Where the law applies to your journey, the regulations and your own risk assessment come first.
