About
Film Inverter is a live viewing tool for photographic negatives. Place one film frame in front of an even backlight and align it with the on-screen guide. The app inverts the camera preview into an approximate positive image, helping you quickly inspect composition, people, and color without taking a photo. Features: • Live color-negative and black-and-white-negative preview • Guides for 35mm, half-frame, XPan, 6×6, 6×7, 6×12, and 6×17 formats • Portrait and landscape guide orientation • Camera zoom choices supported by your iPhone • Real-time processing entirely on device • No account, ads, subscription, capture, import, or upload Film Inverter is designed for quick viewing and composition reference. It does not replace a dedicated film scanner or final color grading. Results vary with the light source, film stock, exposure, and display.
