Tractor GPS: Field Guidance by Swathera is a GPS guidance app that helps farmers, hobby farmers, and custom operators drive straight, evenly spaced passes by turning their phone into a field guidance display. No expensive in-cab system required. Set an AB line, follow parallel guidance lines, see where you have already worked, and keep a record of every field operation in one place. WHAT CAN I USE IT FOR? Follow parallel guidance lines while: - Spraying, to reduce overlap and missed strips - Planting and seeding, to keep passes evenly spaced - Fertilizing and spreading - Tilling, plowing, and cultivating - Mowing, baling, and harvesting - Other field operations HOW DOES AB LINE GUIDANCE WORK? 1. Add your tractor and implement. 2. Enter the implement's working width and offset. 3. Draw a field boundary or select a saved field. 4. Set the A and B points of your guidance line. 5. Start guidance and follow the parallel lines on screen. 6. Save the finished operation to your work log. Guidance lines are generated from your implement's working width and offset, so each pass lines up with the one before it. The covered-area view shows where you have already worked. DO I NEED A DEDICATED GPS DISPLAY? No. Tractor GPS runs on your phone. It is a low-cost way to start with digital field guidance on tractors that do not have a built-in guidance display.
