Turn your iPhone into a live magnetic-field instrument. Magnetic Vision reads the phone’s built-in magnetometer and makes relative changes easier to observe. Set a local baseline, move the device through an area, and watch the display respond from cool blue to warm red as the measured difference increases. VISION • See a live radial view of relative magnetic-field change. • Choose a visualization range from 20 to 1,000 µT. • Enable audio feedback whose pitch and volume follow the same normalized signal. • Reset the visualization and calibration state at any time. AR FIELD • Sample qualifying magnetic changes while moving through an area. • Keep readings anchored to the positions where they were recorded using AR world tracking. • Adjust the minimum recorded change to keep the field cloud focused. • Pause, resume, or reset a scan. DATA • Inspect the X, Y, and Z components, total field magnitude, relative delta, estimated noise, peak, sample rate, and experimental AC activity. • Record timestamped sessions locally as CSV for later analysis and sharing. MEASURE CAREFULLY Repeat passes with similar orientation, distance, speed, and path. A repeatable pattern is more informative than a single peak. SCIENTIFIC LIMITS A magnetic reading does not identify its source. Magnets, ferromagnetic materials, electric currents, phone accessories, and device motion can all affect the sensor. The radial view represents signal amplitude, not direction, source geometry, or depth. AR Field displays only sampled points; it does not infer measurements in unsampled space. Magnetic Vision does not measure electric fields, temperature, or ionizing radiation and is not calibrated safety, navigation, medical, or inspection equipment.
