Kod Identity is for what you show, rather than what you store. WHO IT IS, NOT WHAT FILE IT IS Kod Identity is organised around people. A person holds their identity documents, their cards, their numbers and their credentials — so you open a person and see everything that proves who they are, instead of hunting through a folder for a filename you half remember. READY BEFORE YOU NEED IT A card you have to search for is a card you will not use. Identities open to what you present: the number, the barcode, the QR code, the photo page. No submenus between you and the thing somebody is waiting to see. FOR EVERYONE IN THE HOUSE Children's passports, a partner's insurance card, a parent's medical details. One place for the whole family, held per person, so you are not the only one who knows where anything is. TRAVEL, MEDICAL, MEMBERSHIP, ACCESS Passports and residence permits. Insurance and medical cards. Loyalty and membership cards. Access and event credentials. School and business identities. Emergency details someone else may need to read. ASK SOMEBODY FOR WHAT IS MISSING When a detail or a document has to come from someone else, Kod Identity drafts the request and gives you a link to send. What comes back is yours to check before it is added to that person — nothing lands in your records unreviewed. ENCRYPTED ON YOUR DEVICE Everything is encrypted before it is written down, with a key derived from a master password only you know. Not a login: there is no account, no server of ours, and nothing to sign up for. SYNCS THROUGH YOUR OWN iCLOUD Your devices stay in step through your private iCloud database, and what travels is already encrypted. Apple stores something it has no key for. Kod Identity opens and works with no network at all. ONE VAULT, SEVERAL APPS Kod Identity reads and writes the same encrypted vault as Kod, Kod Case, Kod Inventory and Kod Property. A passport scanned here is the same record Kod Case can put against a requirement — referenced, never copied. Kod Identity is complete on its own. NO RECOVERY, BY DESIGN No copy of your master password exists anywhere, so nobody can be persuaded to hand your data over — and nobody can get it back for you either. That is the trade, stated plainly rather than in the small print.
