Murmur — never forget your lines. A free teleprompter for iPhone and iPad: no in-app purchases, no watermark, no ads, no sign-up — the features other apps charge for are all free here. VOICE TRACKING — Turn on Smart Mode and the prompter listens as you speak English or Chinese: wherever you go in the script, it follows. Pause and it waits; skip ahead and it catches up. Recognition runs on your device whenever supported; your scripts never leave the device. PRO PROMPTING — Adjust font size, weight, width, line spacing, page width and scroll speed. Horizontal and vertical mirroring for beam splitter rigs, countdown, reading guide, spoken-text dimming. RECORD WHILE PROMPTING — Film with the script docked near the lens for natural eye contact. 1080p, no watermark, saved straight to Photos. Voice tracking keeps working while recording. BLUETOOTH REMOTES — Page turners, clicker rings and keyboards work instantly. Selfie clickers and earphone buttons can toggle playback. This update fixes issues reported by users and improves every feature after a full review: • New beauty effects for recording: skin smoothing and brightening, identical in the preview and the saved video. • Fixed: edits to a script's text weren't saved. Changes now save as you type. • Fixed: in Smart Mode, dragging the text no longer snaps it back to the line you just read. Touch and hold the text to pause it anywhere. • Steadier voice tracking: it recovers after Siri, a call or switching headphones, ignores off-script remarks, and catches up when you skip a paragraph. • Your reading position stays on the same line when you change font size, spacing, page width or rotate the device. • More reliable recording: closing the screen, going to the background or a phone call now saves the take; if Photos access is off you can share the video instead. New "back to top" button. • Cleaner SRT captions, at most two lines each. • Safer device remote: after pairing, the prompter is no longer visible to other devices, and remote edits can't land in the wrong script. • More accurate import of legacy Word (.doc), PDF, web pages and text in any encoding, with clear messages for password-protected or scanned files. • Deleting a script now asks first; a new Gestures section in Settings. • Other stability and usability improvements.
