About
Squares is a two-player strategy duel, played against the Computer on a literal 9x9 Sudoku grid — no puzzle-solving required, just cells to fight over. Tap a cell to claim it and its number becomes your points. Match values across a box boundary to build a bridge for a bonus. Surround an empty cell with three of your own claims and it's yours for free — and that can cascade. Own every cell in a box for the biggest single bonus in the game. Six difficulties, from a genuinely beatable Easy up through Grandmaster, a real two-move-lookahead opponent that plays for the biggest margin, not just the biggest score. Turn on Practice Mode to see exactly what the Computer is weighing on every move — bridges, cascades, and threats you need to defend — then turn it off once you don't need the training wheels anymore. Play a single game, or a full series: best of 3, 5, or 7. Your game saves automatically, so you can pick a match back up right where you left off. No accounts. No ads. No trackers. No network requests at all — everything happens on your device.
