Meridian: Learn Every Country

About

Meridian is a map of the world that you learn through fun and entertaining game play, with proven strategies to lock in the info. Every country on the map starts blank. Answer a question about it and it darkens a shade. Learn it well, both as a name and as a place, and it lights up and stays lit. Progressive difficulty means it never feels like a heavy lift, but you quickly know more than you did the day before. HOW IT TEACHES • You start with the countries most people half know, then move to the harder ones a few at a time. • Countries you miss come back sooner. Countries you know come back less often. • If you keep mixing up two countries, the game offers a short drill on that pair. • Three guesses on every question, and no penalty for a wrong one. • Sessions are fifteen questions and about five minutes. WHAT YOU CAN DO • Learn the whole world, or focus on one region and finish it. • Take a Final on any region when you think you know it. • Earn a seal for every region you complete, and see your record for each one. • Keep a daily streak, with shields that cover a missed day. • Lock a country you have mastered so it never fades. • Get one optional reminder a day, at a time you choose. • Progress past countries and learn capitals, flags, and more. DEEP-DIVE PACKS Go inside a single country. The United States pack has all fifty states, their capitals and flags, 109 cities, all 61 national parks, 235 historic sites, 324 tribal lands, 276 wine regions, and 83 roadside attractions. Packs for France, Mexico, Canada, Japan, China, Australia, Spain, Italy, and the United Kingdom are also available. More added regularly! FREE AND PAID The countries game is free every day, with no ads: a few sessions a day, and your first two days unlimited. The Full Atlas adds unlimited play, capitals, flags, and trivia in your sessions, and every Deep-Dive pack. It is available as Meridian Plus, a monthly or yearly subscription, or as a one-time purchase. Packs can also be bought one at a time (great for brushing up before a trip). Meridian collects no personal data. There are no accounts and no ads. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled in your Apple ID settings at least a day before the period ends.
