About

Pay once. No subscription, no ads, no account. Works offline. Stack is the firewood calculator for wood-stove and fireplace owners. Measure a stacked pile and get cords — and what you really paid per full cord. Compare species by BTU with cited numbers. Track every stack you split, log moisture-meter readings, and burn only when the wood is actually ready. Free forever • Cord & stack calculator — length × height × depth to cords (a cord is 128 cu ft, per NIST Handbook 130) • Real price per full cord — never overpay for a short load again • Face cord / rick converter — see exactly what fraction of a cord a face cord of your piece length is • Species & BTU chart — 44 species with million BTU per cord, splitting, smoke, sparks, and coaling, from USU Forestry Extension data • Burn Safe — the EPA Burn Wise moisture target and never-burn list, plus CSIA creosote and chimney-fire guidance Stack Pro — one-time unlock • Seasoning tracker — every stack you split: species, time seasoning, and your moisture log. Marked ready to burn only when a fresh-split reading is under the EPA 20% target. The meter decides, not the calendar. • Winter planner — turn last winter's oil, gas, propane, or electric usage into the cords you actually need • Wood vs other fuels — everything normalized to dollars per million BTU of delivered heat, the US EIA method • Value pricing — a $/cord quote becomes $ per MMBtu for that species, so a cheap low-BTU cord can't fool you Every number names its source: USU Forestry Extension, US EPA Burn Wise, CSIA, NIST, US EIA. No folklore seasoning charts — elapsed time is shown as a planning estimate, and readiness comes from your moisture meter. For wood-stove owners, fireplace and insert burners, homesteaders, and anyone buying firewood by the cord. $6.99 one-time for Stack Pro. No subscription, no ads, no account.
