Fretalus helps you become fluent with the fretboard instead of it being something you hunt around on. The quizzes ask you short questions like: • What's the note on the 7th fret of the A string? • Which chord is this diagram? • Can you play an A chord? • Which CAGED shape covers this position? ANSWER BY PLAYING OR BY TAPPING You can pick the answer from multiple choice when you're without your guitar. Or you can use Playing mode to practice playing the answer. Fretalus listens through the microphone and works out the note or the chord you played. No need to plug anything in! THREE PRACTICE MODES • Notes: find any note anywhere on the fretboard • Chords: recognize and play chords • CAGED: master the five movable shapes GUITAR OR BASS Choose Bass in Settings to learn the notes on a four-string neck, by tapping or by playing. Bass keeps its own string selection, guided start, streak and progress, separate from your guitar. TWEAK THE QUIZ TO FIT YOUR STUDYING • Change your settings to quiz yourself on all of the strings or select only the strings you're working on. • Cap how high up the neck you want to study. • Turn the accidentals on or off. • Select how long of a timer per question. NO ACCOUNT, NO ADS, NO TRACKING, COMPLETELY PRIVATE Fretalus doesn't collect or want any of your data! It doesn't talk to the network at all. Audio from the microphone is analyzed on the spot to determine notes and chords. Fretalus will never record, save, or send your audio anywhere. Your practice settings and your best streak live on your device and the entire app works offline.
