Chezlog is a job log for private chefs and personal chefs who cook in someone else's kitchen. Every home is different. Chezlog keeps what each one has — burners, oven, tools, how to get in, where the bins are — next to the client's restrictions and the dishes you have already served there. From the menu it builds the shopping list and a timeline counted back from the moment you serve. WHAT IT DOES • Kitchen notes for each home: cooking surface, burners, oven, counter and fridge space, plates, entry, parking, waste, photos. • Client cards: allergies, intolerances, dislikes and faith-based restrictions, kept apart from each other, with the date you obtained consent. • Restriction check: your client's restrictions are matched against the ingredients in your dishes — including the ones hidden inside stock, roux and sauces once you copy the label in. Whatever could not be checked is listed as “not confirmed”, so you always see the gap. • Shopping list: scaled to the number of guests, adjusted for the usable portion, rounded up to the pack you actually buy, grouped by aisle. Combine jobs for one shop. • Timeline counted back from the serving time, one lane per burner and oven, and one lane for your own hands: two steps that need your full attention are never placed at the same time. Setup, course intervals and teardown are part of it. • Bring list: what your dishes need, minus what the kitchen has, checked against your own gear — and a separate list of what you own neither. • Cost: food cost including waste and a flat estimate for your own seasonings, kept apart from travel, parking and assistants. Switch to reimbursement when the client buys the food. • Photos of the kitchen before and after, receipts, and the dishes. • PDF documents: quote, billing summary, shopping list, timeline. HOW YOUR DATA IS HANDLED Chezlog does not send the data you enter. No account is required. Everything is kept on your device, and you can create an encrypted backup file at any time — backup and restore are free, because a job log that only lives on one phone should never be held for ransom. WHAT IT DOES NOT DO Chezlog does not find you clients, does not take payments, and does not calculate tax. It is the tool for the part after the booking: getting the shopping, the timing and the constraints right. The restriction check is based only on what you enter.
