Vega: Video Player & Shorts

About

Vega is a clean, fast video player for your phone. Full-quality picture, real sound, a floating mini window, and playback that keeps going when the screen goes off. ◆ WATCH IN FULL QUALITY Vega plays video and audio as separate streams and puts them back together, so you get the real 1080p picture with proper sound instead of a blurry fallback. Pick the quality yourself any time — it keeps your place when you switch. ◆ KEEP WATCHING WHILE YOU BROWSE Drag the player down and it shrinks into a floating window you can move anywhere on the screen. Keep reading the feed, searching, or opening a channel while the video plays on. Tap it to go back to full screen. ◆ SOUND WITH THE SCREEN OFF Lock your phone and the audio keeps playing, with title, artwork and controls right on the lock screen and in Control Center. ◆ A SHORTS FEED THAT JUST PLAYS Swipe up, next short plays. Full screen, vertical, no thumbnail grid in the way. ◆ EVERYTHING YOU CAME FOR Search with filters for videos, shorts, channels, playlists and live. Browse by category: music, gaming, sports, news, live and learning. Open a channel, read the comments, follow along with captions, or switch the audio track when a video has more than one language. ◆ YOUR LIBRARY, ON YOUR DEVICE Channels you follow, videos you like and what you have watched are kept on this phone. No account, no sign-up, nothing to remember. ◆ MADE TO LOOK THE WAY YOU WANT Two full interface styles — Liquid Glass and Material — plus your own accent color, light or dark, and a choice of home-screen icons. ◆ QUIET BY DESIGN No ads inside Vega. No profile, no feed built out of your data, no clutter. Pick your content region and language in Settings, and the whole app follows.
