You run a rolling landscape with a kite on a line above you. Tap to jump. Hold, and the kite catches you and carries you — long, floaty, quiet. That is the whole game, and everything else grows out of it. THE ONE TRICK Let the line go high enough and the kite swings a full revolution overhead. Catch it, and the landing you make next decides what it was worth. It costs no second button. You already release the line — this makes releasing it high mean something. SPEED IS THE RESOURCE Downhill builds it, uphill bleeds it. A landing that matches the slope you touch down on pays you; one that fights it costs you. Rocks are the only thing that ends a run. TWELVE SKIES, ON A CLOCK First light, Morning air, Blue noon, Golden hour, Last light, Violet hour, Deep night, Starlight, Storm light, White air, First snow, Ember sky. The hour turns over every forty-two seconds and the whole world changes colour with it. Reach one you have never flown under and the game names it, once. Weather crosses it on its own clock — rain, storm, fog and snow. FIFTY LEVELS Three goals live at all times. Clear all three and you level up. A hundred and fifty goals deep, and the ladder ends with a card rather than counting forever. NINE FIGURES A Kitesmith, a Courier, a Ranger, an Aeronaut, a Monk, a Stormwright, a Fox, a Lantern-keeper and a Vagabond. Six are earned on the ladder, two are bought with coins the game gave you, one comes with the single purchase. They change what you look like and nothing about how you fly. That is deliberate. MADE FROM SCRATCH No bitmaps, no sprite sheets, no AI-generated assets, no artist. Every sprite is procedural vector art, the soundtrack is offline synthesis, and the landscape is four sine waves sampled per frame. The whole world regenerates from source in seconds. Portrait.
