The district hands back the booklet and says they cannot read it. ShotCheck photographs a childhood vaccination record — China's 预防接种证, Mexico's Cartilla, India's Mother and Child Protection Card, a Philippine ECCD card, Vietnam's Sổ tiêm chủng — and reports what it documents and what your state's school requirements will treat as missing, with the reason for each. Doses given since you arrived, at a US clinic, go in alongside them. WHAT IT ACTUALLY TELLS YOU A translation renders the words 麻风疫苗 and leaves you exactly as stuck. ShotCheck answers the questions underneath: • Does 百白破 count as DTaP? Yes, and the report says which doses count. • Do the polio drops count? California's own sheet says oral polio doses given on or after 1 April 2016 do not — and China switched to bivalent in exactly that window. • Is 麻风 at 8 months one of the two MMR doses? No, twice over: it contains no mumps, and it is below the 12-month US minimum age. Every line cites the state's own requirement sheet, and each dose is listed with its CDC CVX code — the piece you could not produce on your own, and the piece the nurse can act on. A ONE-PAGE SHEET FOR THE SCHOOL NURSE Print it or AirPrint it: dates, CVX codes, the requirement source, and a plain list of what the record documents and what it does not. WHAT IT DOES NOT DO It never tells you a child needs a vaccine. It reports on a document. The school nurse or the civil surgeon makes the determination, and rows it cannot read confidently are marked unread rather than guessed at — because an unread row is not a missing dose. NOTHING LEAVES YOUR PHONE The card is read on device by iOS. There is no account, no server, and no networking code in the app at all. Records you keep are stored on this iPhone, encrypted while it is locked, and left out of iCloud backup. COVERAGE • All 50 states and DC.
