AirCore is the air-side calculator for HVAC technicians, designers and contractors — offline, no account, no subscription. Buy it once. ANY TWO KNOWNS, THE WHOLE STATE Enter any two of dry bulb, wet bulb, dew point, relative humidity, humidity ratio, enthalpy or specific volume. AirCore solves the rest and puts the point on the chart. Type a value and the point moves; drag the point and the values follow. Neither direction is an afterthought. BUILT FOR THE ELEVATION YOU ARE ACTUALLY AT Most tools quietly assume sea level. In Denver that is an 18 % error on every constant, every duct and every coil. Site elevation sits in the toolbar of every screen, and every number is corrected to it. The app shows you the corrected sensible constant next to the 1.08 the trade quotes, so you can see what the altitude costs. THE CHART, ON A PHONE A real psychrometric chart: saturation curve, relative-humidity curves and enthalpy lines, redrawn at your barometric pressure. Two states and the process line between them. It stays readable at arm's length in bright sun, and it is fully accessible to VoiceOver — every state point announces its whole condition. THE TOOLS • Psychrometrics — any two knowns, eight properties, on the chart • Air-side heat — sensible, latent and total, solvable in any direction • Air mixing — two airstreams, weighted by mass, not by CFM • Duct sizing — straight duct from friction, with real surface roughness and a velocity check • Fan laws — affinity relations with the air-density correction that is not optional • Pipe sizing — water head loss both ways, Darcy and Hazen-Williams, with velocity limits IMPERIAL AND METRIC, BOTH REAL Switch any time. The stored value never moves and never re-rounds, so flipping units is free and reversible. EVERY NUMBER IS ONE THE APP CAN PROVE The physics lives in separate, independently tested modules, each checked against published reference data — including the saturation-pressure correlation over both water and ice, so winter conditions are right and not extrapolated. Invalid input is refused with a reason rather than answered with a plausible number.
