Kod Auth — Two-Factor Codes

Kod Auth holds your two-factor codes and shows them in one list, most recently used first. Open it, glance, paste. Every code lives in an encrypted vault on your own devices. There is no Kod service, nothing to sign up for, and no company holding your codes. ONE LIST, NEWEST USE FIRST No folders to open and nothing to search for. The code you reached for last time is at the top, because that is almost always the one you want again. Tap a row to copy it. THE CLIPBOARD CLEANS UP AFTER ITSELF A copied code is taken back off the clipboard after thirty seconds. You can change that, or turn it off, in Settings. Kod Auth only ever clears what it put there, so if you have copied something else since, that is left alone. The confirmation shows how long is left. ENCRYPTED ON YOUR DEVICE Codes are encrypted with AES-256-GCM before they go anywhere. Your master password becomes a key through Argon2id, which is memory-hard and tuned to make guessing expensive. Unlock with Face ID or Touch ID. SYNCS THROUGH YOUR OWN iCLOUD Your devices stay in step through your private CloudKit database, already encrypted. Apple stores bytes it has no key for. Kod Auth also works entirely offline, and with no iCloud account at all. ADD A CODE IN SECONDS Scan the QR code a service shows you, or type the setup key by hand. Kod Auth keeps the issuer, the digit count and the refresh interval exactly as the service specified them, so eight-digit and sixty-second codes work properly. WORKS WITH KOD Kod Auth is a companion to Kod, the password manager — same vault, same master password, same iCloud. Codes you add here appear in Kod alongside the logins they belong to, and you can file them into any project or folder you already use. Kod Auth works on its own too, if you only want the codes.
