simmer watches prices and stock on things you have already decided you want. Save a product by pasting a link or sharing it from any app. simmer reads the price, the stock status and the photo, and keeps every reading, so a number has a history behind it rather than just a value. Everything that moved since you last looked is collected in one list: drops, rises, restocks and pages that have gone away. Set a target price and simmer marks the day it's reached. Turn alerts on and it will tell you about a drop; leave them off and it waits until you open it. Either way it sends at most one notification per check, never one per product, and anything it finds overnight waits until 8am. Save the same thing from two merchants and simmer can keep them together, so you can see which one is cheaper today. Prices in other currencies are converted to yours. There is no account and no server. Your list is stored on your device, nothing is sold, and there are no analytics. Save a copy to a file whenever you want one. On iPhone Duo, open it up and your list sits on one side of the fold with the product on the other. A note on how checking works: iOS decides when an app may run in the background, so simmer checks while you're away rather than the moment a price moves. Some shops draw their price in the browser rather than writing it into the page; those land in a review queue for you to fill in once, because simmer would rather ask than guess.
