About
Screenshots are the notes you take without writing anything down. Then they sink into the camera roll, and the one you needed is somewhere in the last four thousand. Caduca reads every screenshot on your iPhone or iPad, sorts it by what is actually in it, and makes it searchable by the words you remember seeing. Everything happens on this device. SOME SCREENSHOTS HAVE A SHELF LIFE The name means "it expires." A verification code is dead in a day. A boarding pass is spent once you land. A parking reservation is over when the event is. Caduca assigns a shelf life when it sorts, then surfaces what has passed so you can clear it in one confirmed batch. Old is its own kind of expired, so you can also look back by age β everything older than three, six, or twelve months β and decide what those screenshots still mean. Nothing is ever deleted for you. Expiry only surfaces things β you decide. And the cabin Wi-Fi password never expires, because that is exactly the sort of thing you kept a screenshot for. SORTED WITHOUT BEING TOLD, FOUND BY WHAT YOU REMEMBER Receipts, codes, recipes, bookings and travel, chat, articles, social. Sorting starts the moment you open the app and keeps going in the background. Search looks inside the picture, so "maple" finds the cabin Wi-Fi password you photographed last summer β and every category carries its own search, so "fish" inside Recipes finds dinner. Every screenshot also gets a name read off the image itself β the recipe's title, the artist on the flyer, the store on the receipt β and you can rename any of them. TURN SCREENSHOTS INTO ONE SEARCHABLE DOCUMENT A hundred and fifty recipe screenshots become a single PDF you can keep in Files, open on a computer, and search anywhere. Each page carries the text found in that screenshot, so nothing becomes less findable. You choose the pages one at a time at full size β swipe right to include, left to leave out β or build a PDF straight from a search's results. Then the screenshots can go and the storage comes back. CLEAN UP WITHOUT LOSING ANYTHING Screenshots only count as duplicates when they match on layout and on what they actually say, with the best copy already chosen. Swipe through a category one at a time to keep, clear, or re-file. Mark a screenshot Keep and it survives every cleanup. Every deletion is staged and goes through one iOS confirmation β the system asks, in its own words, and everything lands in Recently Deleted for thirty days. CATEGORIES LEARNED FROM YOUR OWN LIBRARY Not everyone screenshots the same things. Caduca reads what piles up in Other and proposes categories from your own pattern β paint projects, apartment listings, guitar tabs, whatever yours turns out to be. You name them, rename them, or refuse them. A category you remove puts its screenshots back; nothing is lost. NOTHING IS EVER UPLOADED No screenshot, no text, nothing. There is no account and no server. The reading is done by your device, which is why it works in aeroplane mode and why the privacy label says Data Not Collected. Caduca is free for a week, with everything included. After that it is a $12.99 yearly subscription. Terms of Use (EULA): https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/
