On 6 April 2026 the HMRC approved mileage rate rose from 45p to 55p per mile — the first change since 2011. If your spreadsheet still says 45p, you are short-changing yourself 10p on every one of your first 10,000 business miles. Odo runs the current rates, records your drives without being asked, and turns them into a figure you can actually put on a tax return.
