Upcyra

About

Upcyra is a simple, offline guide to recycling and reuse. It helps you understand what everyday materials are made of, whether they can be recycled, and how to turn them into something useful instead of throwing them away. Most of us handle plastic, glass, paper, metal and fabric every day without knowing what the codes mean or what can actually be recycled. Upcyra makes it clear, and then goes one step further by showing you creative ways to reuse each material at home. MATERIALS COVERED - Plastic, with all seven resin codes explained - Glass, including how colors are sorted - Paper and cardboard - Metal cans, steel and aluminum - Textiles and fabric FOR EACH MATERIAL YOU GET - A clear summary of what it is - Whether it can be recycled - How to prepare it before recycling - Food safety and handling notes - Simple reuse and upcycle projects with steps REUSE PROJECTS Follow easy step-by-step projects to turn everyday waste into something new. Each project lists the materials you need, the time it takes, and a difficulty level, from a no-sew tote bag to a self-watering planter or a tin can lantern. SAVE AND TRACK Save your favorite projects and keep a simple count of the items you have kept out of the trash. PRIVATE AND OFFLINE Upcyra works fully offline. There are no accounts, no ads, and no data collection. Everything stays on your device. PLEASE NOTE Recycling rules differ from one city and country to another. The codes and tips in this app are general guidance, not local law. Always check your local collection service to confirm what your area accepts. Some reuse projects involve sharp edges, heat or small parts, so please take care and supervise children.
