Fight for Illinois

About

Fight for lower taxes. Fight for safer streets. Fight for common sense. START WITH YOUR ZIP CODE Enter your ZIP and the app is built for where you live: the meetings, alerts, data and videos for your community. No account is needed to look around. A free account unlocks Videos, Events and Issues. KNOW WHEN IT MATTERS Take Action alerts tell you when there is a public hearing, a vote, a petition or a meeting worth showing up for near you, and give you one clear way to act: a script for a call, a link to sign, or the meeting details. SHOW UP WHERE IT COUNTS Events lists every upcoming public meeting in your ZIP code, near you, or statewide, with a calendar view. RSVP to add a meeting to your phone's calendar and get a reminder the day before. SEE WHAT YOU ARE PAYING FOR Property taxes, school report cards, public salaries and local pension funding for your community, drawn from public records and presented plainly, with the source cited on every page. FOLLOW THE FIGHTS THAT MATTER TO YOU Punitive taxation, waste and fraud, failing schools, corruption, public safety, jobs. Follow an issue and its updates lead your Home screen. WATCH THE SHORT VERSION Short videos explain the numbers behind the headlines. Save the ones you want to come back to, and send one to a neighbor by text. READ THE FULL STORY News and data written for your area, with pictures, and a share link that opens the piece for anyone. Fight for Illinois is a non-partisan, non-profit action group. We are not a news outlet, a think tank or a lobbying firm. Everything in the app is published by the Fight for Illinois team; there are no public comments or user posts. Through their own power, Illinoisans can fix this state. Join us.
