BerryMate

About

Never lose a spot again. BerryMate is a private map for people who pick berries and mushrooms. Record your walk with the screen locked, log each find in two taps, and over the seasons build the map only you have: where the chanterelles were, which slope had cloudberries, and which patch has given nothing for three years. YOUR SPOTS STAY YOURS • No account, no sign-up, no tracking — your places are never sent to us • Everything lives on your phone; iCloud backup and sync is optional and goes through your own private iCloud account • Recording works with the screen locked, and "While Using the App" location access is all it ever asks for BUILT FOR THE FOREST • GPS walk recording that survives locked screens and force quits • Age-tinted trails show where you've already searched — and how long ago • Log finds, amounts and ripeness in seconds, or report an empty patch: honest history beats wishful memory • Mark a place you can see across the bog with a long press • Walk-back guidance points you to any saved spot with live distance YOUR HISTORY, YOUR WAY IN • Import years of geotagged photos — each becomes a find at the right place and time, grouped into spots automatically • Import GPX tracks from Garmin, Suunto, Polar and other watches • Every spot keeps its full visit history, photos included AI IDENTIFICATION, HONESTLY FRAMED • Photograph a find and get a species suggestion with a confidence level and a lookalike warning • Add any species you track — the AI pins the name to one exact species, Wikipedia reference included • A suggestion for your log, never edibility advice. Never eat anything based on an app identification. BERRYMATE PRO — ONE PURCHASE, YOURS FOREVER • Spot forecasts: every spot predicts its prime window from typical seasons at your latitude, tuned by your own visit history — computed entirely on your phone, nothing sent anywhere • App lock: Face ID, Touch ID or your passcode guards your map • Scan to identify, powered by AI The everyday map — recording, logging, spots, import, iCloud backup — is free, complete, and stays that way.
