Nestria answers one question, once a day: is the person you love okay? They tap once. You see it. That's the whole product. HOW IT WORKS · They tap "I'm okay" — on their iPhone, or straight from their Apple Watch face. · You see today's answer the moment you open the app. · If a day passes without a tap, your phone tells you. Quietly, once. There is no tracking, no location, no microphone, no step counting. Nestria never says where anyone is or what they are doing. It says one thing: there was word today, or there wasn't yet. BUILT TO BE CALM The hardest part of an app like this is not the notification — it is not frightening anyone. Nestria never uses the word emergency. It has no red anywhere. When a day passes without word it says exactly that, and adds what is usually true: a phone left charging, a long nap. The person checking in is never called "monitored". They are asked one thing, kindly, once a day. NO ACCOUNT, NO SERVER Nestria has no sign-up, no password and no server of its own. The daily check-in is written to a shared area of your own iCloud, using Apple's own sharing. Nothing passes through us, because there is no "us" in the middle. The alert is not sent from anywhere — it is scheduled on your phone in advance and quietly cancelled the moment word arrives. That is also why it has no running costs, and why it keeps working when the network is slow. ON THE WRIST For the person checking in, the watch face is the shortest path there is: one tap, no unlocking, no app to find. The complication shows whether today's word has already been sent. Nestria is not a medical or emergency service. It does not call anyone, contact emergency services, or monitor health.
