Penbeam Teleprompter

About

Penbeam is a teleprompter and recording app for talking-head video. One straight line from start to finish: write the script, prompt it, record, clean it up, export. READ WITHOUT LOOKING DOWN Your script floats right over the camera view, so your eyes stay on the lens. No more memorising, no more glancing at a sheet of paper next to the phone. PICK THE MODE THAT FITS HOW YOU FILM • Full-screen prompting — the script sits over your own camera view. The everyday choice. • Voice-follow — just read; the current line highlights and scrolls itself. Miss a line? Press and slide sideways to jog the script back to where you actually are. • Floating window — shooting in the system camera app or another app? The prompter floats on top and the camera never sees it. • Second screen — put the script on another device. Nothing on your recording screen at all. • In-ear — keep the screen clean and follow a script you know well. • Livestream — a card-by-card talking-points board that floats over your streaming app. A NOTE ON SCREEN RECORDING A floating prompter stays out of shot only when the camera is filming you — a lens sees a person, not a screen. Screen recording and meeting screen-share WILL capture it: the recorder grabs the composited display output, and the system draws the overlay into that layer. For those, use second-screen or in-ear prompting. TIDY UP IN ONE PASS Dead air at the top and tail, long pauses, retakes, filler words — Penbeam finds them and you remove them in one go. ADJUST WHILE THE CAMERA ROLLS Font size, scroll speed, beauty filter, dual-camera picture-in-picture. Change them mid-take without starting over. KEEP ACCOUNTS APART Scripts and finished videos file into collections, so running several accounts never gets them mixed up. YOUR FOOTAGE STAYS ON YOUR PHONE Recordings are saved locally and are not uploaded to our servers. Cloud sync covers text — scripts and settings — never video.
