BookBite turns reading into a simple local adventure. Adults add books that their children have started reading. When a child finishes a book and their grown-up approves it, they earn a BookBite. BookBites can be exchanged for rewards from participating local restaurants, cafés, bakeries, bookshops, museums and community venues. READ, FINISH, EARN Add a book by scanning its ISBN, searching for it or entering it manually. Children can see the books they are reading and let their grown-up know when they have finished. Once approved, one completed book earns one BookBite. DISCOVER NEARBY REWARDS Browse family-friendly rewards from participating BookBite Places. Each reward clearly shows: • What the child receives • How many BookBites it costs • When it is available • Dietary and allergen information • Whether an accompanying purchase is required Reserve an available reward before travelling to the location. SIMPLE FOR CHILDREN Children see a calm, focused experience containing: • Their current books • Their earned BookBites • Nearby rewards • Stamps from places they have visited Accounts, location permissions, reservations and redemptions remain under adult control. BUILT FOR FAMILIES One adult account can manage multiple child reader profiles. Each child has their own: • Reading shelf • BookBite balance • Completed books • Reward history • Collection of BookBite Place stamps FOR LOCAL BUSINESSES Restaurants, cafés and other family-friendly locations can register as a BookBite Place and create a clearly defined reading reward. Retailers control: • Reward availability • Daily redemption limits • Opening times • Purchase requirements • Dietary and allergen information When a family visits, the retailer scans the BookBite reward and confirms redemption. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Children do not create their own accounts. BookBite does not require children to provide an email address, telephone number, full date of birth or public profile. Sign in with Apple is the only authentication method. BookBites have no cash value and cannot be purchased, transferred or sold.
