HolderLog is a one-time-purchase tool holder manager for small machine shops. Put a QR tag on every holder, and a scan at the machine shows the gauge length, offset notes, and remaining tool life in large type - readable with gloves on. SCAN AT THE MACHINE No more walking back to the crib or squinting at a paper setup sheet. Scan the holder, read the numbers, enter them, cut. TOOL LIFE METER Every holder carries a life limit in minutes. Add usage with one tap (+10 / +30 / +60 or custom) after each job. At 80% the holder turns amber; at 100% it turns red. Worn tools stop sneaking back into the spindle. TOOL CHANGES Record regrinds and replacements, optionally resetting the usage counter. The change history stays with the holder.
