How do you read an arterial blood gas β is it respiratory or metabolic, acidosis or alkalosis, and is it compensated? ABG Interpreter is a study tool that makes the pattern automatic for respiratory-therapy and nursing students. Type the three numbers from any ABG problem β pH, PaCO2 (mmHg), and HCO3 (mEq/L) β and it names the primary disorder and the compensation, and shows exactly how it got there.
