SenseiOS – Japanese Flashcards

About

Japanese, one honest step at a time. SenseiOS starts by finding out what you already know. A short adaptive placement assessment moves up and down the JLPT scale — N5 through N1 — across kana, vocabulary and grammar, and puts you exactly where you belong. No guessing, no starting from zero if you don't have to. WHAT YOU STUDY • Hiragana and katakana, from the first character to full fluency • JLPT vocabulary decks for N5, N4, N3, N2 and N1 • Grammar in context — fill-in-the-blank sentences, not isolated rules • Native audio on the prompts, so reading and listening grow together HOW IT WORKS Every session is a short, focused set of cards. You answer, you hear the Japanese spoken aloud, and you find out immediately whether you were right and why. Cards you struggle with come back sooner; cards you've mastered come back later. Your mastery per deck is tracked and shown, so progress is something you can see rather than something you have to take on faith. BUILT TO KEEP YOU COMING BACK • A daily goal you can actually hit on a busy day • Streaks and XP that reward showing up, not cramming • A stats view that shows what you've learned, what's slipping, and where to spend your next ten minutes ENGLISH AND FRENCH The whole app — interface, translations, explanations — is available in English and in French. Switch at any time in Settings. DESIGNED FOR IPHONE Built natively in SwiftUI for iOS 17 and later. Dark, quiet, fast. Full Dynamic Type and VoiceOver support throughout. SenseiOS is a subscription.
