Your wine journey starts at the list, not the label. Every pick is made by Claude, Anthropic's AI, reading the list in front of you. A lighter design puts the bottle and its reason first. PHOTOGRAPH THE LIST Read up to four pages of one wine list. Found it before you go? Share its photo into the app. Try a sample list to explore the same reading flow; it requires an active subscription and uses a reading. ONE BOTTLE, AND A SENTENCE YOU CAN SAY Get a bottle with its region, vintage context and a sentence to say at the table. Set a maximum per bottle: it is a hard limit. Choose tastes to avoid. If the bottle is sold out, move to the next choice. Show the staff the bottle you want. Alternatives from the same reading use no extra reading. PAIR WITH FOOD Photograph the food menu, then tap the dishes you are ordering and match the wine. Not decided yet? Choose from two or three food and wine pairings. Each wine-list reading includes one free food-menu reading, without using another monthly reading. Change your choice within that menu without another reading. THE RECEIPTS ARE ON THE CARD Compare the room's price with an online reference range and inspect the available sources in Why this bottle. Online prices are references, not promises. The app is not a sommelier; unreadable lines and missing evidence are identified. A failed reading is not counted. MARK THE ONES THAT GOT AWAY Keep bottles you want to revisit with their reading and price evidence. THE DIARY, AND THE PORTRAIT IT BECOMES Record what you ordered, where, and your verdict. Your diary builds a portrait of your tastes and spending. Records sync through your own iCloud account; no separate app account is required. SOMMELIER DIARY PRO New wine lists use readings. Your diary, marked bottles, portrait and last reading remain accessible after cancellation. Restore Purchases is available in Settings and on the purchase screen. With anonymous statistics enabled, recording what you ordered returns half a reading for the first three records each month. Control this in Settings. 1-week free trial where eligible, up to 3 list readings. Then, Sommelier Diary Pro is a monthly or yearly subscription with 3 list readings a month. If you need more, Scan Pack 5 is a subscriber-only one-off purchase of 5 readings that do not expire at month's end. Prices are shown in the app before purchase in your local currency. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically at the same price unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours of the end of the current period.
