Charger Uptime is a record-keeping tool for the people who keep public EV charging ports running. You log outages as they happen, mark which minutes are excludable, and the app calculates a trailing twelve-month uptime percentage for every port. It works entirely offline. No account, no network, no subscription. ■ The dashboard is a gauge, not a ledger Open the app and you see where every port stands right now: its trailing twelve-month uptime, and how much chargeable downtime is left before it drops below 97 percent. Ports in trouble sort to the top, and an outage that is still open is flagged as accruing. ■ Excludable minutes, handled properly Outages are recorded against one of eight causes. Five of them — electric utility interruptions, vehicle faults, scheduled maintenance, vandalism, and natural disasters — can be excluded from the calculation. The other three cannot. Because exclusion depends on being able to demonstrate the port would otherwise have been operational, the app will not exclude an outage until you have written a note or attached a document to it. Claims without support are shown to you rather than quietly counted. ■ The equation, applied consistently Uptime is calculated as ((525,600 - (T_outage - T_excluded)) / 525,600) x 100, using a fixed denominator of 525,600 minutes and a trailing twelve-month window. Outages that straddle the window edge are trimmed to the part inside it. Open outages accrue to the current moment. ■ Monthly breakdown Every port shows twelve months of history with T_outage, T_excluded, and the uptime figure for each month, so the numbers you need for a quarterly submission are already separated out. ■ Electrical tests Record annual electrical tests and ground fault verifications against each port, with results and technician names. ■ Evidence you can attach Add photos to an outage — a utility notice, a police report, damaged equipment. Attachments stay on your device. ■ Reports Export a quarterly report covering the last three months, an annual report covering twelve, or a CSV of the raw outage records. Files go to the share sheet, so you decide where they land. ■ Corrections leave a trail Editing a finalized record appends a revision entry rather than overwriting it.
