PulseLAN measures the actual speed of your own network by testing directly between two of your devices - not against a test server hundreds of miles away, and not by reporting an internet speed and calling it Wi-Fi. Turn one device into a server, scan its QR code from a second device (or pick it from the list), and run a real throughput and latency test across the network you use every day. You get download, upload, ping and jitter, plus a plain-language verdict on what that means. No second device? Any laptop, tablet or phone with a web browser can join a test straight from that browser - nothing to install on the other end. That makes PulseLAN useful for finding the weak spots in a house, checking a new router or mesh node, or confirming a device is getting the throughput it should before you start troubleshooting anything else. Also included: - Internet speed test - measures your connection against Cloudflare's public speed-test service, with a bufferbloat grade for latency under load. Optional, and it asks first. - Bottleneck verdict - compares an internet result against a LAN result to tell you whether your Wi-Fi or your ISP is the limiting factor. - Devices - lists what is answering on your network, with readable names instead of bare IP addresses. - Ping and packet-loss monitor - watch an address over time and see loss and jitter as they happen. - Scheduled monitoring - re-run a test on an interval and get an alert when results fall off, with CSV export of the history. PulseLAN runs on your own network. There is no account, no sign-up, and no analytics. It collects nothing: results are stored only on the device that measured them and are never uploaded to us or to anyone else - we have no server to upload them to.
