MeterSlate is a private offline ledger for cumulative electricity, water, gas, heating, and custom meter readings. It keeps everyday readings understandable while preserving the evidence needed when a meter is replaced, a mechanical dial rolls over, or a past reading needs correction. • Organize meters by property or location, with units, meter numbers, dial limits, notes, and archive status • Record cumulative readings and see usage since the previous compatible event • Resolve lower readings explicitly as a meter replacement or dial rollover • Append corrections, reversals, and restorations without overwriting original records • Record utility bills in their original currencies; unlike currencies are never combined • Review evidence-backed usage, daily averages, reading intervals, and bill totals by currency • Schedule optional local reading reminders through iOS • Export readable text, readings CSV, and bills CSV • Create checksum-verified backups, preview conflicts, merge, replace, and recover from last-good evidence Your locations, meters, readings, bills, reminders, and backups stay on your iPhone or iPad unless you explicitly export them. Optional feedback sends only the message, contact address, diagnostics, and screenshots you choose—not your ledger.
