MOACalc turns your iPhone into a precision shot group analyzer. Photograph any target, mark your shots, and get instant group size in MOA, offsets from your aiming point, and the exact scope correction clicks needed to zero in. HOW IT WORKS 1. Fill in your session — firearm, ammo, distance, and scope click value. 2. Photograph your target with the camera or import from your library. 3. Draw a reference line across any known dimension (a 1" grid square, a bull diameter) and enter its real-world length. MOACalc sets the scale. 4. Tap your aiming point, then tap the center of each bullet hole. 5. Tap Calculate — group size, offsets, and scope corrections appear instantly. WHAT MOACALC MEASURES • Extreme Spread — maximum center-to-center distance between any two shots, in inches and MOA • Group Centroid — the average center of all shots • Horizontal & Vertical Offset — how far the centroid is from your aiming point, in inches, MOA, and Mil • Scope Corrections — windage and elevation clicks to move the group onto the aiming point PRECISION TOOLS • True MOA (1.0472"/100yd) and Mil (3.6"/100yd) — not rounded approximations • Caliber-sized shot circles sized to your actual bullet diameter • Pinch-to-zoom and Pan Mode for precise shot placement on tight groups • Drag any shot mark or aiming point to reposition after placing FIREARM & AMMO PROFILES Save your firearms with caliber, and your ammo with bullet weight and diameter. Selecting a profile in session setup fills the caliber automatically — no re-entry needed. Custom calibers are saved and persist across app updates. WEATHER CONDITIONS Pull current temperature, humidity, wind speed, direction, and elevation automatically from your GPS location. Conditions are printed on your saved session image for a complete record. SESSION HISTORY Save every session with a fully annotated image — shooter, firearm, ammo, conditions, group results, and scope corrections all printed on the photo. Review any saved session in the History tab, with pinch-to-zoom on the annotated image. PRIVACY MOACalc does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. Camera, photo library, and location are used only on your device to perform the features you request. No accounts, no ads, no analytics.
