KeyFX: Keyboard for Magicians

About

KeyFX is a full-featured custom keyboard for iPhone, and it's free. It types like the built-in keyboard: swipe typing, autocorrect, every layout and language, adjustable height, one-handed mode, themes, and inline translation. Use it as your everyday keyboard and nothing else ever happens. KeyFX also includes an optional toolkit for stage performers who like to keep prepared text and their own integrations within reach during a show. These tools are entirely opt-in. They stay inactive until you switch on Performance Mode and set them up yourself, and KeyFX never sends your typing anywhere on its own. FREE KEYBOARD • Swipe typing, autocorrect, and multilingual layouts • Themes, key styles, adjustable height, one-handed edge • Hold space for a trackpad cursor; hold a key for alternate characters • Inline translation, powered by Google Translate • Text macros and clipboard helpers PERFORMANCE TOOLKIT — optional one-time in-app purchase • Insert a prepared line on cue for a reveal • Acrostic layout that spreads a chosen word down several lines • A suggestion-bar slot you fill from your own notes or your own web service • Personal integrations: connect a web address you own and send a line of text to it with a gesture. You enter every URL yourself; KeyFX ships with none • Text transforms: reverse, letter case, cipher and letter-map options • Ten saved configurations to switch between routines • Apple Watch companion face, and an optional link to the Impaler performance app PRIVACY Your typing stays on your device. KeyFX has no ads, no analytics, and no account. Full Access is used only for the clipboard, the translation feature, and haptic feedback. The app explains this in a full-screen notice the first time you open it, before anything else is available. The translation feature and any personal integration contact only the services you choose.
