It runs the same measurements the app runs, on the device, and keeps nothing. Aloud now transcribes in the language you are actually speaking. The newest on device speech model covers thirty languages. If yours was not one of them, Aloud fell back to English and wrote your rehearsal down as English words. Polish, Russian, Ukrainian, Turkish, Dutch, Hindi, Arabic and Indonesian were all affected. Aloud now reaches for the on device model that matches your language, and never substitutes another one. Aloud measures the parts of your speaking you cannot hear yourself. Rehearse a talk, an interview answer, a toast, a pitch or a lesson. Aloud listens, then shows you what actually happened: how fast you spoke, where you rushed, every filler word, every hesitation sound, how much silence you left, and whether you landed on time. WHAT IT MEASURES • Pace, second by second, against the band for that kind of talk. A toast wants 105 to 135 words a minute. A pitch wants 140 to 170. You see the curve, not one number. • Filler words in eight languages. Not just "um" and "you know", but "yyy", "jakby", "halt", "genre", "o sea". • Hesitation sounds. The "uhhh" with no word in it, which every transcript quietly deletes. Aloud finds it by comparing the sound to the words. • Pauses. How much silence, and whether any of it was long enough for a room to catch up. • Energy, timing, and a delivery score that always shows its working. Tap any score and read the sentence that explains it. ON THE DAY Start Stage mode on Apple Watch before you walk up. Two taps means you are racing. A light double means pick it up.
