Capture important photos privately and create proof that can be verified later. Veridenz is free to download. Creating captures, generating signed witnesses, publishing records to Nostr, and verifying evidence require the Veridenz Lifetime Unlock, available as a one-time in-app purchase. No subscription is required. Veridenz keeps photos inside the app instead of automatically adding them to your Photos library. It is designed for work records, property damage, receipts, documents, deliveries, inspections, repairs, and other important documentation. Each capture creates a cryptographically signed witness tied to the original image file. The witness record is published to the decentralized Nostr network, but the photo itself is never published. Verification can confirm that: • The image matches the originally witnessed file • The cryptographic signature is valid • The witness record exists on Nostr Images remain stored privately on your iPhone. You can export the exact original file to Files or save a separate copy to Photos. Veridenz does not require an account or subscription. Your Nostr key is created and managed by the app and is used to sign each witness. IMPORTANT LIMITATIONS Veridenz can show that a specific file matches a signed witness record published at a particular time. It cannot prove that a scene was not staged or guarantee that a photo will be accepted by a court, insurer, employer, or other organization.
